He’s Sacrificial And Selfless; Chairman Wontumi Installed As ‘Kpaman-rana’ Chief In Nalerigu

The Ashanti regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, has been installed a sub-chief in Nalerigu in the Northeast region.

Unbeknown to him, Chairman Wontumi had only accompanied Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on a ‘thank you tour’ to that part of the country, when he had paid a courtesy call on the chief at his palace.

However, upon arrival to the chief’s palace, a short traditional ceremony was held on Monday at the Chief’s palace, where the stool name— Kpaman-rana— literally meaning ‘Courageous and sacrificial person’ was conferred on him.

Speaking during the ceremony, it was announced that the Ashanti Governor was bestowed such a title due to his selfless and dedicated sacrifice to mankind and society.

It was observed that Chairman Bernard Antwi-Boasiako has sacrificed his live for others, so many times and was just right to honour and appreciate him.

Photos of Chairman Wontumi’s installment have been in the social media trends in Ghana Monday.
