Hearts Of Oak Sign Nine New Players Ahead Of 2020/21 League Season

Ghana Premier League giant, Hearts of Oak have signed nine new players ahead of the upcoming league season.

The Accra-based side are keen on ending the eleven years of not winning the Ghana Premier League title thus signing the nine new players to strengthen squad.

The Phobians have already lost two of their last season key players namely; Joseph Esso and Kofi Kordzi who was the team’s topscorer in the 2019/20 league season.

Coach Edward Odoom’s side are determined to clinch the Ghana Premier League title and be able to represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League next season.

Former defender Nuru Sulley has rejoined the club ahead of the new league season which has led to the departure of Benjamin Agyare.

Nigeria International Danjuma Ademola Kuti alongside Eric Dizan, Mamane Lawali have also joined the former CAF Confederation Cup champions.

FC Samartex all-time leading topscorer Victor Kweku Aidoo has also joined the club as well as Isaac Mensah formerly of Nkoranza Warriors.

Former winger Patrick Razak has also rejoined the Ghana Premier League heavyweight as well as former Bechem United goal poacher Abednego Tetteh.

Hearts of Oak have also signed trialist Ali after impressing the technical department of the club.

It is believed that Hearts of Oak paid GH¢20,000.00 to FC Samartex before signing Victor Kweku Aidoo but the remaining eight players joined on free transfers.

Hearts of Oak have already begun preparations for the upcoming league season. The team will move to Cape Coast in the Central Region to begin camping.
