Ghana Premier League side Hearts of Oak is set to appoint a new deputy coach soon after Asare Bediako resigned from the job.
The former Berekum Chelsea gaffer informed the club about his decision in a letter submitted on Tuesday.
He stated in the letter that his reason for resigning “due to circumstances beyond my control”.
The official handles of the club are yet to communicate to the public on Asare Bediako’s resignation but has been confirmed by head coach Kosta Papic in an interview.
“It is going to affect the team somehow no doubt about it. But we are going to find a replacement”, he told Happy FM.
“We are going to miss him and I wish him all the best in future career. But football is like that and that is his choice and personal decision”.
The Serbian coach has appealed to the Phobian fans to support the club. He stated emphatically that he has the support of management.
