Weeks after the death of his wife, Ghanaian musician Eugene Baah, popularly known as Choirmaster, is still reflecting on the painful loss of actress Beverly Afaglo, sharing an emotional message about the difficult journey of healing ahead.
In an Instagram post shared on June 16, 2026, Choirmaster opened up about his struggle with grief while assuring fans that he would remain strong through the process.
He shared a video capturing some of the moments they spent together and captioned it: “Healing will be tough!! But I will be strong.”
Beverly Afaglo’s death was confirmed on May 24, 2026. She reportedly passed away at the International Maritime Hospital in Tema after battling cancer for two years.
Her final funeral rites are scheduled to take place on August 7, 2026, at the Lashibi Funeral Home in the Greater Accra Region.
The funeral arrangements were announced during her one-week memorial service held on May 30, 2026, at the Green Flavour Events Centre in Community 9, Tema, where family members, colleagues, friends, and members of the public gathered to pay their last respects.
Beverly Afaglo was widely known for her roles in several Ghanaian films, including Return of Beyonce (2006), Crime to Christ (2007), and Girls Connection (2008). Her filmography also featured Never Again (2010), Turn Me On (2010), The Game (2010), and Single Six (2011), among others.
She also appeared in productions such as Equatorial Escape (2011), Secret Burden (2012), The King’s Bride, Total Exchange, PlayBoy, Big Girls Club, CEO, and About to Wed.
