Have Faith In Me, I’m A Promise Keeper- Akufo-Addo To Ghanaians
His Excellency President Akufo-Addo has reiterated that he is a promise keeper and that Ghanaians should repose faith in him.
According to him, before occupying the highest office of the land, he promised to open the Obuasi gold mines, shut in the NDC era and has fulfilled it.
President Akufo-Addo was Speaking at a sod-cutting ceremony to commence the construction of Trauma and Accident Hospital at Obuasi monitored by wontumionline’s Nana Owusu Achiaw on the last day of his 4 days tour of the Ashanti Region.
“I promised to let Obuasi acquire KNUST campus, develop the Anwiankwanta-Obuasi road and fix the Obuasi town roads. All these promises have come to pass,” the President added.
He noted that the €55 million Trauma and Accident hospital will be among the hospitals the government is building.
Akufo-Addo hinted that the Fomena hospital will soon be completed.
