Group Commends President Akufo-Addo For Appointing Ahweneeh Danquah As CEO Of GNPC
The Executives of the Concerned Takoradi Youth have commended President Akufo-Addo for appointing Mr Opoku A Ahweeneh Danquah as CEO of the Ghana National Petroleum Commissioner (GNPC).
Mr Opoku Danquah takes over from Dr Kofi Koduah Sarpong whose tenure came to an end two months ago.
In a release copied to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper, the group said the appointment was timely and a welcome one.

“We would like to seize this availed opportunity to congratulate One of Our Own, the hardworking, Affable and Accessible Mr Opoku A. Danquah on his appointment as CEO of GNPC.
We would like to thank H. E. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for appointing our very own born and raised in the oil city to bring his enormous experience to bear at GNPC after serving successfully as a Deputy CEO.
As you’ve always left an indelible mark in any portfolio you had occupied, we know that at the end of your incumbency GNPC posterity would celebrate you for your remarkable achievements as your predecessor is enjoying.
We know your love for Ghana 🇬🇭 made you leave a lucrative job in the United States Of America to come and serve your motherland after your Predecessor Dr KK Sarpong came calling on you to come to help him at GNPC.
We the youth in Takoradi are proud of you and continue making us proud, congratulations on your appointment once again and we ask for the Lord’s protection and guidance on your Life”.
