GPL: NPP Chairman Calls On GFA Boss To Secure Sponsors For Clubs
Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako has urged the Ghana Football Association President, Mr. Kurt Okraku to help secure sponsors for some of the Ghanaian clubs ahead of the new season which kicks start soon.
Chairman Wontumi made the appeal in reaction to a statement by some Clubs that it is becoming increasingly difficult to get sponsors ahead of the new season.
Answering questions from King Eben on Wontumi Nationwide Sports on Wontumi Radio/TV on Wednesday, the NPP Chairman who would soon form a football academy noted that, there are about 6 telecommunications networks, 20 beverage companies, 15 mining Companies so the GFA boss should approach them and secure sponsorship deals for the clubs.
“Kantanka cars, Nissan Cars and VW cars are also available so Kurt can engage with them to secure sponsorship deals for the clubs.” He added
