Gov’t To Support Private Sector To Ensure The Country’s Development

President Nana Akufo-Addo says his government will support individuals who want to promote the development of the country.

His Excellency made this known on his day two of of his tour to the Ashanti Region when he commissioned a 6-unit ultra modern block built by Nana Adwoa Dokuaa, Board member of Cocoabod.

Addressing Nananom at the gathering, Nana Addo said that, he always witness wonders anytime he comes to the Region but what he has witnessed surpasses all.

He noted that, Ghana will change if the children are given assess to education.

President Akufo-Addo said that, Madam Dokuaa deserves a great commendation for the benevolent support she has offered the Apraman Community.

“We thank Madam Dokuaa for what she has done. God bless her,” he said

Chipping in, Hon. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Education Minister, said that it is bad to not let others enjoy the blessings God has given you.

He stated that, Nananom of Apraman have noticed that upon all the rich persons in the community, Madam Dokuaa is the only person who has given the town a face lift.

He indicated that, soon the NDC who couldn’t help them will come and deceive them again but they should reject them.

“We will go to the polls soon and if you have seen the good works by the government don’t use your thumb to vote for bad things.” The Member of Parliament for Manhyia South emphasized.

For her part, Nana Adwoa Dokuaa said that it was her heart desire to do something to create impact in the community she resided two years ago which was her 60th birthday.

According to her, the school was in bad condition, “they even eat in the classroom and learn in a dilapidated classrooms”

Madam Dokuaa who sounded emotional noted that, for sometime past the National Service personnel rejected the positing to Apraman Basic school due to lack of accommodation.

She disclosed that, the school will have dining hall, National Service quarters, ICT Laboratory, Library hall and a mechanized borehole .”

Madam Dokuaa thanked all especially President Akufo-Addo and herself who helped to make the dream a reality.

She said that, she is very ecstatic President has done her this honour and prayed that God grant him four more years to do more for mother Ghana.
