Government Appointees Hold The Key To Akufo-Addo’s Performance- Kusi Boafo
Former Chief Executive Officer for Public Sector Reforms, Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo, has noted that, the performance of President Akufo-Addo lies on the onus of his appointees.
According to him, the appointees especially the MMDCEs represent the President at the various sectors and that they should perform greatly for the government to achieve its objectives.
Appearing on Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show, Mr. Kusi Boafo advised President Akufo-Addo to sack any appointee who wants to make money for himself.
According to the former CEO of the Public Reforms Sector, “we don’t go into politics to make money rather make money from the private sector.”
Meanwhile he said that, serious integrators are used to rule a country.
He insisted that if a party didn’t perform well in elections and was voted against, the party faithfuls are to be blamed.
According to him, NPP won the 2020 general elections but their poor performance clearly indicates that, there were issues surrounding the MMDCEs.
“If not cheating, it could be greed or the engagement in galamsey,” he said.
According to Mr. Kusi Boafo, a section of the MMDCEs could not even go to the grassroots to campaign because of the bad image they have.
