Gordon Ready To Pursue Kofi Adam’s ‘Stolen Govt V8 Case’ Even After Court Awards 40k Damages.

The Managing Editor of ABC News, Gideon Asare Bediako, has emphatically stated that he still stands by his allegations leveled against a former National Organizer of the NDC, Kofi Adams.

In 2019, Mr. Bediako had alleged that Kofi Adams, was under police investigation for embossing a wrong registration number plate on an alleged state-owned Toyota Landcruiser V8 vehicle. The registration number GE 5215 – 19, which is being used by the V8, actually is for a Toyota Corolla saloon car. The V8, which is alleged to belong to the state, is being used for car rental services by Kofi Adams for which reason ABC has learnt he is under investigation.

However, Kofi Adams, sued the Managing Editor, stating that the publication has injured his hard-won reputation.

The Member of Parliament for Buem Constituency, Kofi Adams, who had fled from his own suit against ABC NEWS was ordered by the Court to fork out Ghc40, 000 as cost for embarking on that aborted legal tussel.

Speaking on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio, Mr. Bediako disclosed that Mr. Adams is yet to pay those charges, as he’s appealing against the ruling. However, Gordon, mentioned that he’s ever ready to accost the lawmaker for his money.

He expressed silence of the Attorney General over the matter. He disclosed that the only government official that contacted him at the time, was the then Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.

I was expecting the Attorney General to invite him and enquire about the matter, and possibly defend him in court. However, that never happened.

“If I had been found guilty, I would have been in prison by now, for fighting for the Government. Meanwhile the car is neither belongs to my father or mother.

According to Gideon Asare Bediako, the Airport police station prepared a docket against Honourable Kofi Adams and have every evidence that Honourable Kofi Adams stole the government car and therefore needs to be prosecuted. However, till date, the government has not taken necessary actions.
