Dr. Samuel Afriyie has sarcastically urged former President John Mahama to go for “political baptism” before Ghanaians can trust him again.
The senior lecturer at the Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) pointed out that the political offices that Mr. Mahama has occupied makes it difficult for people to trust him when he talks about brining something new to the table.
“John Mahama need political baptism to show us he is a new person. People don’t trust him. He has been vice and president before”, Dr. Afriyie said on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com.
Personally, Dr. Afriyie stressed that “politically I don’t trust Mahama but religiously I trust him because we attend the same church”.
