President Akufo-Addo has been advised by the Bono Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to go back to his ‘Kume Preko’ and be that intimidating character that defined him.
Kwame Baffoe popularly known as Abronye stated on the Nsempa Fie show which airs on Wontumi TV that Ghanaians were looking forward to see the old Akufo-Addo and not the current person who looks relaxed.
In his assessment, he stated that Ghanaians know Nana Akufo-Addo to be a no nonsense character who would even walk through gun fire and tear gas to ensure the right thing is done but has become softer as President.

“We want to see your old self, the ‘kume preko’ style; that is what Ghanaians want to see under your government. You are becoming too gentle“, he stated.
According to Abronye, President Akufo-Addo decision to tone down has affected most Ghanaians who are yearning to see some form of fire in him like they used to see before.
In a humble appeal to President Akufo-Addo, Abronye stated that “go back to your 1995 ‘kume preko’ days… Ghanaians are saying this isn’t the Nana Addo we know.“
