Give The Suaman Parliamentary Seat To NPP For The Area To Develop- DCE Appeals
Chief Executive of Suaman District, Hon. Christian Baah, has called on the electorate of Suaman District to give the Parliamentary seat in the area to NPP to benefit from a co-ordinated and sustainable development of the area.
“When you give Nana Akufo-Addo another four more years and vote for the NPP Parliamentary candidate the area would develop massively.” He said
According to him, the Ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has achieved a lot in developing the area in their first term far more than the NDC did in its eight years in office.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio and TV’s Election 2020 flagship programme on Friday evening, Hon. Baah affirmed that, had the NPP not come to power the area development would have retarded.
He said that, the NDC left behind common fund debts but Nana Akufo-Addo has settled all.
According to Hon. Baah, creating the District has been a problem for the NPP because NDC has been the custodian of the seat since 2004.
Hon. Baah disclosed that, in the las election the NDC Parliamentary candidate, Hon. Smek Ackah deafeated him by only a 12 vote margin.
According to him, he suspected some underhand dealings in the elections and dragged the matter to court but he was asked to withdraw it to let the NDC do his work without a hinderance
He re-emphasized that if the electorate extend the mandate of President Akufo-Addo for another four more years and vote for the Parliamentary candidate, Fredrick Addy, the area will be transformed in a rapid and sustainable manner.
