Ghana’s economy is doing better than Togo and other neighbouring countries – Former OTI regional Women’s organizer

Former Oti regional Women’s organizer, Olivia Yawa Aglago has said that the nation’s economy is performing better than that of our neighbouring countries.

This, she said, is because the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government has made strides to restore economic stability.

Speaking in an interview on Kano Fm in Oti region, she attributed the economic downturn to Covid 19 pandemic.

She however slammed critics of Dr. Bawumia, stating that he remains resolute in ensuring the country’s economic recovery.

“People who will vote based on the economy are just looking at the surface. They should go beyond the economy and examine the policies implemented by the government.

Our economy is performing better than other countries after Covid 19. Let’s not go far, Ghana’s economy is much better than Togo” she emphasized.

She also admonished voters to cast their ballots for the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on December 7 .
