Ghanaians Should Embrace Free Senior High School – Former Fomena MP
Honourable Kingsley Atta Boafo, former Member of Parliament for Fomena Constituency, has admonished Ghanaians to embrace the free senior high school education programme.
According to him, because of the free SHS, parents are able to save money that would have been used to pay their wards’ school fees, uniforms, university fees and accommodation.
He said in an interview on Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show that he is a beneficiary of the free SHS.
“This government has made her daughter enrolled in Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior High School free and she was given free five school uniforms,” he said.
According to Hon. Atta Boafo, Ghanaians should not politicise the policy but appreciate and encourage the government because the free SHS has come to help both the poor and the rich.
