The President of the Republic, Akufo-Addo has urged Ghanaians to calm down their nerves as the government goes to the IMF for an economic bailout.
According to President Akufo-Addo Ghana will negotiate a good deal with the IMF.
Speaking at the New Patriotic Party(NPP) National Delegates Conference held in Accra, the President said Ghana will not only have a good deal with the IMF but the country will be in a position to build a strong economy.
Akufo-Addo emphasized that the governing NPP is capable of taking Ghana out of hardships.
“We took Ghana from HIPIC. We have done it before and we will do it.” he emphasized
