The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has announced that, all is set for the nation to receive 100 buses before the year ends.
This initiative is aimed at improving public transportation and reducing transportation fares.
He made this known at the manifesto launch of the party held in Takoradi on 18th August, 2024.
Outlining his policies, he said this measure will enhance our transport system, ameliorating its efficiency and convenience for commuters.
He also mentioned that his administration will introduce a credit score system, which seeks to allow workers purchase goods at lower interest rates, leveraging digitalization.
