Ghana’s Security Services Need A Reform- Irbad Ibrahim
A Security Expert endowed with security knowledge has waded into the recent brutality by some military officers on some civilians.
Irbad Ibrahim noted that recent incidents indicate that Ghana needs a reform in the security sector.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show, he said the relationship between civilians and the security officers is a bit unfriendly.
He noted that, if there is cooperation between the security officers and the civilians, there would be no disturbances.
Touching on the Ejura disturbances, the Security Analyst said the loss of lives is very disheartening.
But Irbad Ibrahim was quick to add that, the incident that happened after the burial of Kaaka was disgusting.
Meanwhile, the Security Analyst said that armed security don’t just respond to issues.
“There are always two sides to a story that’s why President Akufo-Addo urgently ordered the interior Ministry to probe the incident within 10 days,” he averred.
He advised Ghanaians to cherish the peace in the country because most of the foreign companies like Toyota and others have established businesses as a result of the peace and the security oriented in the country.
