Fédération International de Football Association (FIFA) has released the latest global rankings for
national teams following the November 2023 Crucial World Cup qualifiers matches globally.
The Black Stars of Ghana have witnessed a setback in their ranking, after suffering a painful defeat to Comoros Islands on November 21 during the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Despite wining against Madagascar who are now ranked 128th, Ghana slips to 61st from the previous month.
Under the leadership of Chris Hughton, The Black Stars of Ghana currently holds 1384.19 points marking a decrease of -10.55. In Africa, Ghana sits at the 11th position trailing behind Burkina Faso (57th ) in the world whiles Morocco maintain its top position (13th) in the world, with Senegal following at 20th globally. Tunisia (28th), Algeria (30th) and Egypt (33rd) completes the top five in Africa.
