Ghana Beat Madagascar 3-0 In 2023 AFCON Qualifiers
The Black Stars of Ghana beat Madagascar 3-0 in their first game of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game.
The Black Stars have begun their campaign at the Cape-Coast Sports Stadium and got an important win.
The Madagascar team frustrated the Black Stars as their goalkeeper Rakotohasimbola made some wonderful saves to keep the game at 0-0.
The Black Stars after the recess got the all-important opener as Mohammed Kudus tapped into an empty net in the 53rd minute after a cross-cum pass from Felix Afena-Gyan.
The second goal followed three minutes later and this time it was Felix Afena-Gyan that connected with a Gideon Mensah corner to make it 2-0.
Ghana went in search of more goals and substitute Osman Bukari in the 86th minute rounded the goalkeeper and placed it into an empty net to make it 3-0.
The win puts Ghana on top of Group E with 3 points and their next game is against the Central African Republic.
