General Mosquito has carved a niche for himself as the only politician in Ghana with a PhD in insults, Miss Janet Nabla Asana has said.
The General Secretary for the People’s National Convention (PNC) Miss Asana, has slammed Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, calling him a politician who has mustered his trade in insults.
The PNC General Secretary took exception to the way the NDC scribe popualrly known as General Mosquito downgraded other political parties who took part in a recently held Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) with the Electoral Commission of Ghana.
General Mosquito has referred to political parties with no representatives in Parliament as ‘sankwas’ to wit useless.
But reacting to the above description by General Mosquito on Wontumi TV, Miss Janet Nabla Asana stated that anytime the NDC General Secretary’s name is mentioned, “the only thing you can think about insults”
“He is a General Secretary with PhD in insults. He insults all other political parties with impunity”, she said.
According to her, the General Mosquito’s name can’t be associated with anything that moves Ghana forward but rather, issues that create distractions.

The NDC on Wednesday, April 21 declined an invitation by the Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC) to attend a meeting of the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) on the December 7, 2020 elections.
According to the NDC, the decision to boycott the meeting is as a result of the “lack of candour, odious duplicity, and open bias that was displayed by the Jean Mensah-led Electoral Commission in favor of the New Patriotic Party in the conduct of the 2020 general elections”.
A statement signed by General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia on Wednesday, April 21 said the party views the current leadership of the EC as lacking the integrity, credibility and impartiality to lead any discussions or review of last year’s elections.
But the PNC General Secretary shared a different opinion noting that the engagement with the EC during the IPAC meeting was very good and friendly.
“I am very impressed with the way the Electoral Commission has gone about this process”, she said.
She added that the NDC was not happy their meeting with the EC, didn’t end up in insult hence their decision to boycott the process.
