#FixTheCountry: NDC Can’t Compete With NPP In Terms Of Governance- NPP Chairman Attacks
The Ahafo Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Kwabena Owusu Sekyere, is arguing that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) cannot compete with the ruling party in terms of governance.
According to him, anytime Ghanaians give the NPP the mandate to govern, they introduce social intervention policies to ease the burden of the people.
In an interview on Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show, Mr. Owusu Sekyere dared the NDC to name any social intervention programme they introduced during the John Mahama and late President Atta Mills regimes.
He said, the NDC must know that Ghanaians have not forgotten the mess they created during their era.
According to the NPP Ahafo Regional Chairman, the gap between NPP’s five year rule and that of NDC’s eight years is very wide.
He admitted that, the #FixTheCountry is a good call because it is the responsibility of the governing party to fix the issues confronting the country and they are doing justice to that.
“We are fixing the country that’s why President Akufo-Addo has waged war on the galamsey,” Mr. Owusu Sekyere said.
However, according to him, the price of cement has increased because there have been an increase of prices of the vessel and clinker prices which are used to manufacture the cement in China.
The NPP Chairman appealed to Ghanaians to continue to have faith in President Akufo-Addo since he will fulfill every promise he has made.
