Hell fire awaits anybody who has an evil agenda the progress of Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson, the Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako has said.
The NPP Chairman known populalrly as Chairman Wontumi stated on Wontumi TV’s Nsempa Fie show that the plot by some National Democratic Congress members to frustrate the hardworking minister would not go unpunished.
According to Chairman Wontumi, it was under the leadership of of Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson as minister for Special Development Initiatives that Ghana, had state of the art ambulances delivered to every constituency in Ghana.
“If you hate Hawa Koomson, you will burn in hell”, Chairman Wontumi warned.
He continued that the initiative of the new Fisheries and Aquaculture Minister ensured that both the NDC and NPP benefitted from her ambulances that was procured under the Special Development Initiatives ministry.
Chairman Wontumi also touched on the vetting and approval of Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto as Agriculture Minister.
He stated that under his leadership, Ghana never experienced shortage in food supply when the world was hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.
“During Covid, Ghana still had food in abundance whilst developed countries including the UK suffered when it came to food on the market”, he said.
In his view, the drama associated with the recent vetting process in Parliament was a plan by the NDC to target ministers they know have performed exceedingly.
