The family of the lady who lost her life following former President John Mahama, have switched to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) following a brief interaction they had with Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako.
Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi had led a delegation from the NPP to commiserate with the family after learning of the sad news.
Chairman Wontumi revealed to the bereaved family that “Charles Opoku has given out money to be used to purchase her casket. He has also given us money to be given to the family to use for any other preparation.”
The head of family who spoke on behalf of the late lady, stated that they were touched by the gesture and for that reason, are switching to the camp of the NPP and praying they win the impending by-election.
