Students of Nsuta Adventist Senior High School in the Ashanti Region have paid a courtesy call on the most influential and credible media house in Kumasi, Wontumi Radio/TV.
The visit was part of the school’s 3 years anniversary and SCR week celebration. The excursion served as an opportunity for those among the group who are aspiring to pursue various careers related to the media and saw the tour as a dream come true.
The headmaster of the school, Mr Emmanuel Ossei-Tutu expressed delight at having the opportunity to visit the premises of Wontumi, stating that was in accordance with plans made for their 3 years anniversary.
He said the visit will give the school a bigger opportunity of exposure.
Mr Ossei-Tutu called on institutions, organizations and associations to consider Wontumi Communication as their first place to consider any time they plan a media tourism programme.
He entreated companies to advertise their businesses on the Wontumi platforms.
“I’ll score you above 100 percent. You are everywhere in the country and all your programmes are educative, entertaining and for the interest of your listeners and viewers. it’s the best” , he added
The students commended management of the station for keeping a serene broadcasting environment.
They said they have been motivated by the visit to feel more attracted to studying programmes in communication and broadcasting after they complete their SHS.
