Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia’s presence in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has exerted so much pressure on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to an extent that they try to copy everything he does on the political and economic front.
Deputy Finance Minister, John Kumah revealed on Wontumi TV that Vice President Bawumia has distinguished himself as an “economic prophet” and this has been a constant threat to the NDC.
“They (NDC) want to copy Bawumia. Bawumia is an economic prophet, when he speaks it comes to pass and that is the reason they also feel like challenging him always”, John Kumah said.
The deputy minister also assured Ghanaians that the government of President Akufo-Addo has no intentions of returning the country IMF like his predecessor John Mahama did.
