A former Member of Parliament of Manhyia South Constituency, Hon. Collins Owusu Amankwaah, has advised the Ghana Police to steer clear off the traditional style of combating crimes.
He said that the police must adopt the modern strategy of fighting crimes.

Speaking on The Privilege Morning Show on Wontumi Radio/ TV, Hon Owusu Amankwaah revealed that, crime in recent times have become rapid.
He noted that the robbers are very smart and will not attack a bullion van anytime soon.
“They will wait for Ghanaians to blush off their eyes in some years before they attack a billion van again,” he told Nana Konadu Abu-prah.
“The Police need new training. Most of them are not security conscious,” he said.
Hon. Owusu Amankwaah further said that, “they need sophisticated weapons, bullet proof vests and helmet.”
