Attempts by Alfred Ogbamey to add more spin to a heavily doctored video by the National Democratic Congress on President Akufo-Addo, has been quickly exposed by Mr. Eugene Arhin.
The Director of Communications at the Office of the President, set records straight when a post by Mr. Ogbamey had sought to paint a false impression in a Facebook post that President Akufo-Addo had dabbled in an act of corruption.
Alfred Ogbamey is falsely contesting that the doctored video being desperately circulated by the NDC was filmed in 2017 shortly after Nana Akufo-Addo was sworn in as President.

But Mr. Eugene Arhin in a quick rebuttal on Facebook, exposed the lies being churned out by Mr. Ogbamey.
He noted the picture of then candidate Akufo-Addo and Angela Merkel, was taken in 2012 and not 2017 as speculated. Mr. Arhin gave more details by adding that the picture in question came about following a visit Nana Akufo-Addo paid to the German Chancellor in 2012.

According to Alfred Obgamey, there is a picture of Nana Akufo-Addo and Angela Merkel, which, according to his checks from “GBC’s news footage”, indicates that the picture was taken in February 2017. This, for him, lends credence to the fact that the doctored video was taken in 2017, when Nana Akufo-Addo became President.
Someone should tell Alfred Ogbamey that that picture, which I have attached to this post and can be seen in the video, was taken in June 2012. Nana Akufo-Addo was accompanied on that visit by the late Jake Otanka Obetsebi Lamptey, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, Saratu Atta, Herbert Krapa, amongst others.
Indeed, in May 2015, Nana Akufo-Addo, again, met with Chancellor Merkel. When he became President, Nana Akufo-Addo’s first trip to Germany was in June 2017.
Facts will always remain facts, and any attempts at falsehoods, lies and fabrications will be exposed.
