The Ahafo Regional Communications director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Frimpong Andrews, has called on the former president, John Dramani Mahama to provide solutions to the economic downturns in the nation.
According to him, former president should outline viable measures to the challenges facing the nation, instead of criticizing.
This comes after the criticism by John Mahama of the recent economic crisis, and intermittent power outages, which is known as ‘Dumsor’.
Speaking on Wontumi Morning Show, on 10th May, 2024, Mr. Frimpong attributed the country’s financial woes to Covid 19 pandemic.
“Every nation across the globe had a tough time regarding its finances due to Covid 19 pandemic. Enough of the challenges, Mahama is always speaking of. He should together with the NDC provide us with solutions to the challenges even if Ghanaians make a mistake by voting for him on December 7th” he said.
He also asserted that, Mahama has no legacy in Ghana. “Mahama purports to be an experienced leader, yet, has no legacy especially in Ahafo region. He was an assembly man, member of Parliament, deputy minister, minister, vice president, acting president, and a president. Apparently, he is noted for lies” he added.
He However commended the Akufo-Addo and Bawumia’s government for its enormous contribution to the various sectors of the nation.
