Engineer Isaac Tenkorang Establishes Education Endowment Fund For Atwima Hwidiem Students
A native of Atwima Hwidiem in the Atwima Kwanwoma District has initiated an Education Endowment Fund, called Hwidiem Education and Career Assistance Foundation for school children in the area.
Hwidiem Education and Career Assistance Foundation is to help needy students in the community in their education.
Engineer Isaac Tenkorang who established the foundation said he did the gesture with some colleagues from Atwima Hwidiem to improve the education standard in the area.
He called on the beneficiaries to show appreciation for the gesture by studying hard so they can also become useful citizens for themselves and the next generation.
Engineer Tenkorang also appealed to the parents of the beneficiaries to ensure that their wards take their studies seriously.
He provided a personal money of GHc 1,500 as seed money for the Foundation.
Other residents complimented Engineer Tenkorang’s donation with GHc 500 bringing the total seed money to GHc 2,000.
