On Saturday 31st October, 2020, Hon Emmanuel Sin-nyet Asigri made a presentation of T-shirts, posters, motorbikes, used clothing, 400 pairs of shoes for the “Boots On Ground” campaign and other assorted items to the Garu constituency.
Present at ceremony were the Regional Women’s Organizer Madam Georgina Ayamba, Deputy Regional Youth Organizer Listowell Azongbilla and the Garu Constituency Executives.
As the first DCE of the then Garu/Tempane District/ Constituency under Former President J. A. Kufuor and former parliamentary candidate for the 2000 election, he deems it as a responsibility to make sure the NPP parliamentary candidate; Osman Musah wins the seat for the NPP.
He was particularly concerned about the Garu Constituency because Tempane which used to be part of the larger Garu/Tempane constituency is now under NPP control. He urged all sons and daughters from Garu Constituency to come and turn the tide around for the NPP.
