Election 2020: John Mahama Not A Threat To NPP- NPP Deputy Gen. Secretary Jabs
Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, Lawyer Obiri Boahen, has said that, John Mahama’s candidature poses no threat to the NPP adding that “he is not a serious contender.”.
According to him, some known members in the NDC with Presidential ambition like Joshua Alabi, Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, among others would have given the NPP a good run for their money.
In an exclusive interview on Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show on Tuesday morning, the vocal NPP leading member said that if the NDC had presented “ a more serious material” for the election, the NPP would have gone back to the drawing board for a thorough review of its strategies..
He gave the assurance that, he will do all he can for the NPP to win the December polls and break the eight year continuous rule for Ghanaian Presidents which has become a jinx and manage Ghana for long.
“I will fight the NDC with my strength till I die.” He vowed.
