The Member of Parliament for Bekwai Constituency, Hon, Joseph Osei Owusu aka Joe Wise has affirmed that he is still worried over by a comment made by Hon. Kwasi Amofa Agyeman who contested as independent candidate MP in the area.
According to Joe Wise, in the heat of the 2020 election campaign, the independent candidate moved from one church to the other spewing lies about him that, he is sharing the LEAP money for the aged to the constituents.
The Bekwai MP during an interview on Wontumi Radio and TV bemoaned bitterly that, he is still deeply disheartened by the accusation made by the independent candidate.
“I am a lawyer so I will never commit such a bad deed on any day.” The first deputy speaker of parliament said.
Joe Wise said that, Hon. Amofa Agyeman called and texted him after the election but never returned to any of them.
According to him, there is no cordial relationship between him and the independent candidate so there is no cause for alarm for him not to reject his call.
