Election 2020 Campaign Launch: All Districts Get Campaign Committees
The NPP’s determination to sweep all the 47 Parliamentary seats in Ashanti in the December elections started in a whirlwind fashion when all the District campaign committees were inaugurated on Monday.
Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, who has vowed to win the three remaining seats in Ashanti journeyed early morning to Ejura to launch the campaign for committee for the Ejura Sekyeredumase Municipality.
The inauguration in the other Districts were supervised by some prominent members of the party including Ministers of State, party executives both past and present as well as some losing candidates in the last primaries.
The message that ran through the Inauguration is the same: “to extensively sell the NPP’s monumental achievements chalked in the last three and a half years under the Nana Akufo-Addo’s government to attract as many votes as possible.”
Meanwhile, the National campaign manager of the NPP, Mr. Peter Mac Manu, has predicted that the NPP is seeking to win over 56% of the total Parliamentary seats in the upcoming polls.
“We want to beat John Mahama by over 1.5 million votes.” He vowed.
According to Mac Manu who was speaking on an Accra private FM he and the NPP respect Ghanaian voter and will not take the nation for granted.
“The NDC is very inconsistent so they are not giving the voters and appetite to choose.”He lamented
