ELECTION 2020: Ashanti Regional Minister Casts His Vote, Urges Eligible Voters To Get Out And Vote

As today marks the day the entire country goes to the polls to elect leaders who would steer the affairs of the country in the next four years, the Ashanti Regional Minister Hon Simon Osei Mensah has exercised his franchise in the Bosomtwe Constituency.

Speaking exclusively to wontumionline.com, the Regional Minister said that the process is very smooth adding it didn’t take him enough time to cast his vote.

He advised all eligible voters should get out and vote.

Hon. Simon Osei Mensah advised that they shouldn’t stay home and rush to go and vote when the closing time draws nigh, “they might not get the opportunity to vote.”

He advised the eligible voters to observe the COVID-19 protocols as he did before collecting the ballot papers to cast his vote.

The Regional Minister expressed happiness about how the security agencies are doing their work in all the centers he visited.

“I’m hoping it will continue like this so that we don’t record disturbances.

Hon. Dr. Osei-Yaw Adutwum, Deputy Education Minister is the NPP PC and Hon. Priscilla Nketiah is also the NDC PC who are vying for the Parliamentary seat in the Bosomtwe Constituency.
