The head of Accounting Department at the Kumasi Technical University, Dr. Samson Anoma, has suggested that the first hurdle in breaking the 8-year political cycle, is for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to elect Chairman Wontumi as their Ashanti regional Chairman.
He made the above call on Wontumi TV as he looked at the advantage Chairman Wontumi brings to the NPP as their Ashanti Regional Chairman.
In his view, breaking the 8-year political cycle for the NPP starts in Ashanti region. “If we are able to bring Chairman Wontumi, we have broken the first 8. He is powerful, has links and resourceful”, he said.
