The MCE for Ejura Sekyedumase, Hon. Salisu Mohammed Bamba, has denied allegations that he had a hand in the death of Ibrahim Kaaka Muhammed.
Macho Kaaka died after he was allegedly beaten to a pulp by some unknown persons in the early hours of Saturday, June 26, 2021, in front of his house.
The MCE in an interview on Wontumi TV’s Talk Ghana Show admitted knowing Kaaka but denied having any rift with him leading to his death.
He used the platform to warn campaigners of the #FixTheCountry to stop tagging Kaaka as their member since he has never supported them.
He described Kaaka as a lovely person who is a staunch member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and has no ties with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) or their surrogate- #FixTheCountry.
“Kaaka is a staunch member of the NPP but shortly after his death, people are calling him a social media activist…People are speculating because before his death, he recorded some Police men and was caught and handed over a warning letter to stop such practice”, Hon. Salisu Mohammed Bamba said.
He went on to state that the late Kaaka’s brother has also spoken and made it clear he has no ties with members of the #FixTheCountry.
The MCE therefore warned the #FixTheCountry campaigners to stop making political capital out of the situation.
