Ejura Finally Becomes Blue As Samira Storms NDC Stronghold

The EJURA SEKYERE-DUMASI constituency, one of the three NDC’s political World banks in the Ashanti Region, shook to its foundation, last Sunday, when the second lady, Samira Bawumia, together with the Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, stormed the constituency.

The entire township came to a total standstill, with the streets all covered with red, blue, and white colours of the ruling New Patriotic Party, which simply signals one thing, victory.

That, the NDC’s political World Bank, has swiftly broken their one-time political romance with NDC, particularly with the emergence of NPP’s Gifty Ndoma, the Parliamentary candidate for the constituency.

The joy, commitment, dedication, self involvement and team work that characterized the occasion, is a testament to the unity that has finally come to the constituency, as well as the resolve to wrestle the seat from the NDC.

It is now obvious that the NPP has done its homework well, especially, with the eventual election of Gifty Ndoma, the party’s Parliamentary candidate, whom majority consider to be the perfect choice.

Gifty’s charisma, zeal, and her youthful exuberance, coupled with her enduring heart, clearly resonate with the core people of the Constituency; a key reason why she always attracts the masses to her side.

The mega crowd, mostly the teeming youth that was witnessed last Sunday, can only be equated to that of the 2016 Mega EJURA rally, prior to the NPP’s victory.

It was evident, how the NDC’s stronghold is fast crumbling, causing much confusion among leadership of the NDC in the constituency.

The sea of party supporters that pulled up at on the streets of Ejura, did not only cause heavy traffic, but ensured that it sends a strong signal to the NDC that the NPP is ready to reclaim the seat in EJURA Sekyedumase and retain power, come December 7.

Samira Bawumia, who could not find words to describe what she witnessed in the constituency, praised them for the well organised event.

She was appreciative for the show of love, and urged the constituency to actively lead this project of returning the Parliamentary seat to the party.

She told the enthusiastic crowd that the December 7 elections will be won by Dr. Bawumia and that voting her daughter, Gifty Ndoma as their MP will serve their ultimate interest.

She said the constituency stands to benefit from the NPP and that it was time they chose the best for the country.
