Efia Odo has gained notoriety for trending on controversial issues.
Her recent attempt to link the death of Macho Kaaka and two others at Ejura to #FixTheCountry has been described as an act of stupidity by the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Upper Denkyira West, Hon. Agyemang Asiedu.
According to Hon. Agyemang Asiedu he has monitored an interview by Efia Odo where she lies about people accusing her as the reason Kaaka has been murdered.
“She wants to become popular riding on nonsense”, the DCE said after it has been established by family members and people close to the late Kaaka that his death was not political motivated or linked to #FixTheCountry.
In a related development, Vice President Bawumia together with the National Chief Imam, Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, have visited the people of Ejura to water down the tension the arose following the death of Macho Kaaka and two others.
The Vice President who was also in the company of the National Security Minister, Kan-Dapaah and the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simone Osei Mensah, donated GHC50,000 and 1000 bags of cement to be used to build a police station for the area.
He also visited the home of the late Kaaka to commiserate with his wife and family and followed it up with a visit to the home of the two others who passed away following a riot in the area.
He also visited and donated GHC10,000 each to victim of the riot who suffered bruises and are on admission at the hospital.
