Former Deputy General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen has described the approach by the Electoral Commission to use the Ghana card as the sole ID for voter registration as simple and commonsensical.
Lawyer Obiri Boahen posited that there’s nothing wrong to demonstrate you are a Ghanaian.
Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show he exhibited anger: “let’s put fear somewhere and match the NDC squarely for criticizing the EC for this approach.”
He said the NPP has tolerated the NDC for far too long.
The founder and leader of Global Movement for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia said the NPP have to react to the NDC for them to know they are not weak.
He bemoaned that the NDC started to hate the EC Chairperson, Jean Mensah when she decided to streamline things.
