Easter Festivities @ Lake Bosomtwe Banned
The Bosomtwe District Assembly has announced the suspension of all Easter Holiday activities that will take place in and around the Lake Bosomtwe in the Ashanti Region.
According to the District, the ban is a preventive measure to curb the spread of the coronavirus and the need to ensure that the general public adhere to the President’s directive on the pandemic.
Part of the release issued and captured by Wontumionline.com indicated that, hosting of any carnival, festival, parties/Fun fairs and large physical events at Lake Bosomtwe is completely banned during the holidays.
