The Presiding Member of the Sekyere Kumawu Assembly, Hon. Ofori Fareed, has commended the Dr Bawumia for his vision to introduce the Electoral Area Share of the Common Fund (EASCF) initiative.
According to him, this move has the potential to transform rural areas and boost local economic growth.
Speaking in an interview with Evans Manasseh, Hon. Ofori Fareed noted that the EASCF initiative is a game-changer for rural development.
He explained that the direct allocation of funds to electoral areas will enable assembly members to tackle specific challenges and priorities in their communities.
“He said this initiative will bring development to the doorstep of rural communities, “It will enable us to address basic needs such as roads, healthcare, education, and sanitation”
“Since, the allocation of funds is directly to the electoral areas, development will be at its peak. There will be a great transformation in the areas if this policy is implemented ”
He further entreated electorates to cast their votes for Dr. Bawumia in the coming general elections.
