Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto’s mother to be laid to rest on Saturday, 31st

The mother of former Minister of Food and Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto will be buried on August, 31  in Koforidua.

His mother, Madam Gladys Adjepong was said to have died on 19th May, 2024 at the age of 96.

Madam Gladys Adjepong’s departure from this world leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her life was a beacon of strength, compassion, and wisdom, qualities that will continue to inspire generations to come.

The funeral proceedings will commence with a Pre-Burial on Suturday, 31th August, 2024, followed by the internment and concluding with a Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, September 1st, 2024 at Wesley Methodist Cathedral, Koforidua at 9:30am

All ceremonies will take place at Koforidua, a fitting tribute to a woman who was deeply cherished by her community.
