Asantehemaa, Nana Afia Kobi, has bestowed her blessings on the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Offinso North in the Ashanti Region, Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah.
In a symbolic ceremony at the Manhyia Palace where the second Lady, Samira Bawumia paid a courtesy call to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and Asantehemaa, Nana Afia Kobi at Manhyia Palace.
Her Royal Majesty Nana Afia Kobi prayed for the candidate’s success and wisdom, saying “God be with you; you will go far; may you be victoirous; you are blessed”
“This blessing from the Asantehemaa is a significant boost to our campaign, we pledge to work tirelessly to win the Offinso North seat and push for it development”
The Asantehemaa’s blessing is seen as a significant endorsement, as the Ashanti Region is a key stronghold for the NPP.
