The Member of Parliament for Effiduase-Asokore, Hon. Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie, has slammed John Dumelo for limiting development of Ghana to only Accra.
The MP in an interview on Wontumi TV took a jab at Dumelo by stating that he needs to broaden his scope and visit places like Effiduase-Asokore to see some massive developments before criticizing the government of President Akufo-Addo in his #FixTheCountry campaign.
Dr. Ayew Afriyie dared John Dumelo, a known member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to move out his comfort zone in East Legon- where almost every road is tarred to see the infrastructure developments the current government is initiating in some deprived communities.
“From Nkrumah’s time, the district capital of Effiduase, didn’t have town roads (coal tarred roads) and you are telling me fix the country – fixing what? So you are telling me that the roads that are being fixed in Effiduase don’t matter, we don’t matter?” he voiced out.

He continued that “you are telling me my constituency doesn’t matter so what they are doing for me doesn’t matter?”
The former leader of AFAG insisted that should John Dumelo or any of the converners of the #FixTheCountry campaign come to deprived areas that are seeing developments for the first time under President Akufo-Addo and talk about #FixTheCountry, the indigenes would harshly rebuke them and drive them away.
