Dormaa Central MP aspirant to organizes IT course for his constituents to boost job security

The NPP parliamentary candidate aspirant for Dormaa Central Constituency in the Bono Region, Mr. Yaw Yeboah has announced his plans to organize 4 days of intensive Information Technology (IT) training courses for the people of Dormaa Ahenkro and its surrounding areas which commences tomorrow, Dec. 12, 2023 and ends on Friday, Dec. 15, 2023.

Speaking in an interview with Gifts FM Morning Show dubbed Anopa Bosuo chaired by Piesie Nana Kumi Bentu, he stated that the decision was influenced by his NGO known as Youth Empowerment Centre in collaboration with Pentecost IT Guild, Supported by Dormaa Senior High School to train about 100 people in Basic and advanced knowledge of Information Technology to enhance their knowledge in computing and create more job opportunities for them.

He said the training is free for each trainee so the only bill needed to be paid is the transportation, feeding, and amount that will be used for the provision of certificates which according to him ranges from Gh¢10.00 – 100.00.

Mr. Yaw Yeboah explained that the purpose of the program is to create an enabling environment for jobs and entrepreneurship for the youths of Dormaa Ahenkro to reduce the rate of unemployment that has resulted in a series of social vices and robberies.

He said the country is currently ruled by technology hence people need to embrace their opportunity for their future benefit.

Finally, Mr. Yaw Yeboah pleaded with parents to support their wards in the upcoming training event to acquire the needed knowledge in computing to ensure a successful future.
