Don’t Reveal Your Sources Of Income To Your Wives,  Maurice Ampaw Advices Married Men

Private Legal practitioner and popular counselor on relationships, Mr. Maurice Ampaw,  has advised married me to desist from disclosing to their  wives their diverse sources of income as the revelation could fuel conflicts in marriage.

Lawyer Ampaw gave the advice when he was speaking on  Mmra ne Abrabomunsem live talkshpow programme  on Wontumi TV  in Kumasi.

He told the hostess,  Obaa Adwoa Nelson Aweh, that,“it is high time married men  refrained from financial acts as there is no law that binds or compel them  not to withhold information of their revenue sources to their spouses.

“The golden rule is that if you want your peace, ““don’t tell your wife where and how you earn your bucks else you would be playing with fire.”

According to Lawyer Ampaw it is within the remit of the husband’s rights to maintain total silence on his  earnings and  in  doing so he can have his   financial independence. to effectively play his  ultimate role as the head of the matrimonial home

Lawyer Ampaw  who is the founder of Legal Advocacy Foundation is fast  gaining a reputation as an authority on counseling  married couples on how to consolidate their relationships, maintain cohesion and reap every benefit in  marriage .He however, cautioned married men not  to shun their responsibility of catering for the needs  of their spouses,

“The duty of every man is to look after his wife as effective as possible which the laws of the country fully endorse.  Women should therefore feel free to furnish   their husbands with their needs and seek every help possible. They  also have the option to seek redress in court if there is a negligence  on the part  of their  husband in fulfilling their marital obligation.

The astute lawyer stressed that  “women should also play ther roles as in line with  the dictates of morality, culture and  the law.
