A political analyst, Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II has made a passionate appeal to the aides of John Mahama to control the volume of alcohol he consumes before speaking in public.
John Mahama according to him is having sleepless nights and making reckless statements because of the alcohol he consumes and the thought of facing Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia in a future election.
Vice President Bawumia’s future takeover as President of Ghana has sent shivering down the spines of Mr. Mahama and this has led to his “do-or-die” comments.
Speaking on Wontumi TV, Nana Oteatuoso stated that as a serious politician, everyone knows elections are won at the polling station and it doesn’t take now for former President Mahama to know this logic.
Mr. Mahama claims he is preparing to face the 2024 Presidential election in a “do-or-die” mode.
Speaking on Akina radio, he stated that he has learnt political lessons in 2020 and realized that elections are won at the polling station.
To add to his strategy of winning elections at the polling stations, John Mahama stated that he will lead the NDC to turn the 2024 into do-or-die affair.
But Nana Oteatuoso wondered if “it is today that he has seen that elections are won at polling station? He has been an Assemblyman and MP before; he should know elections are won at polling stations.”
He continued that just as President Akufo-Addo beat John Mahama to become President, Vice President Bawumia would do the same thing to the latter.
