Members of the Die HARD Supporters Union in Accra are in town as part of the advance team of football pundits who have arrived in Kumasi to rally round the Ghana Black Stars from the supporters bench.
The group is led by Mr Abraham Nkansah fondly called Apiurugu Chakapaama, a die hard supporter of the national football teams at all levels including the Black Queens.
Apiurugu Chakapaama who had earlier featured on the King Eben’s popular sports programme (Nationwide Sports) to set the tone for the massive support expected from Ghanaian footballers, especially Kumasi residents made a passionate appeal to football lovers to come in their numbers to watch tomorrow’s match at the Baba Yara Stadium.
He said a massive support from the stands is the only way that the Black Stars morale could adequately be boosted.
The widely traveled football fan shared some benefits he has derived from being a celebrated supporter of Ghana’s soccer, particularly the senior national team, the Ghana Black Stars.
