The Ankobiahene of the Dormaa traditional council who doubles as Chief of Amasu in the Dormaa Central municipality of the Bono region, Barima Dei Kusi has urged the youths in Dormaa Ahenkro to Desist from drug abuse and the smoking of weed to help them build a fruitful future.
Speaking with Newsmen during the enstoolment of the chief for Zezera, he highlighted the negative impact of smoking and cautioned them to stay away from the act.
Nana also urged parents and guardians to be responsible to ensure they train their children well to put up a decent lifestyle in the community
Nana again cautioned the Youths of Amasu and Dormaa Ahenkro to stay away from politics of insults as we approach the 2024 general elections adding that they must embark on evidence-based and objective campaigns to ensure peaceful and successful elections in December polls.
Barima Dei Kusi finally expressed appreciation to the NPP government for the Agenda 111 projects being introduced to enhance quality health care delivery in the country denoting that the Dormaa Central constituency share of the project situation in his jurisdiction (Amasu) is in accelerated progress which when finished will enhance development, create employment and other opportunities in Amasu.
